AI search visibility · UK
Ask ChatGPT to recommend a dentist in your town. It names three practices. Yours isn't one of them.
Citemark helps UK dental, aesthetic and high-ticket home-improvement firms become easier to find, understand and cite in AI-assisted search — using a method we publish in full, prices that start at £195, and a rolling contract you can cancel any month.

The problem
Your next patient is asking a machine, not Google
Buyers of expensive, considered services now start with an AI assistant. They ask it to shortlist, compare and justify. If the machine cannot read your site, does not know who you are, or cannot find an answer on your pages, it recommends someone else — and you never see the enquiry that didn't happen.
"We're invisible and nobody told us"
Most sites are built with JavaScript that AI crawlers never run. The engine sees an empty page, so you are not a candidate answer at all.
"Our clicks are down, rankings are the same"
You still rank. The answer box above you now satisfies the question, so the click never arrives. Your rank report looks healthy while your diary doesn't.
"Our agency has no idea either"
Ask them which prompts you appear in and how often. If the answer is a single screenshot or a one-off score, they are showing you noise, not measurement.
The stakes, in plain numbers. A randomised field experiment published in 2026 (1,065 users, 68,089 searches) found organic clicks fell 39.8% when an AI Overview was shown, and zero-click searches rose 34.5%. For a clinic where one implant case is worth around £2,500, that is not a rounding error.
30-second test
Don't take our word for it. Open ChatGPT and check.
Pick your category and type your town below. Copy one of the prompts, paste it into ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI mode, and read the answer. Either you are in the shortlist or you are not. This takes thirty seconds and it is the only proof that matters.
Recommend the best private dentist in your town. Give me three options with reasons.
I need a private dentist near your town. Who is most trusted, and what do they charge?
Compare the top private dentist businesses in your town on price, reviews and experience.
Run it twice. The answers will differ — that instability is exactly why we never report a single-snapshot score.
The method
The 5-Layer AI Visibility Method
Getting cited by an AI engine depends on five things stacked in order. If a lower layer fails, the ones above it cannot save you. We publish the whole method — including the parts that are just ordinary SEO — because the alternative is selling you a new acronym for old work.
01
Eligibility
Can engines physically read and retrieve you? Rendering, per-agent robots rules, snippet directives, index health.
02
Entity
Does the machine know who you are? Schema, sameAs linking, consistent NAP, business profiles, brand facts.
03
Answers
Do you answer the questions being asked? Answer-first pages, published prices, comparisons, FAQs, locations.
04
Evidence
Is there extractable proof? Statistics, named experts, cited sources, review volume and recency.
05
Endorsement
Do third parties say it? Directories, listicles, digital PR, review platforms, industry press.
The plan
Three steps, and you can stop after any of them
You do not have to commit to a programme to find out where you stand. Start free, buy a paid audit only if the free one worries you, and start a retainer only if the audit shows work worth paying for.

What we don't promise
This section costs us leads. We keep it because everything in it is true, and because you will find out anyway — better from us on day zero than from your own data in month six.
We do not guarantee you'll appear in ChatGPT
Nobody can. Engines pick sources at generation time using signals no agency controls. Google and Bing both tell buyers to walk away from anyone who guarantees rankings. We remove the reasons you're ineligible and then measure honestly.
We are not selling you a traffic firehose
AI referrals are around 1% of most sites' visits today. The real damage is the other way round: clicks you already earned are being absorbed by answer boxes. We're fixing a leak, not opening a tap.
We will never show you a single "visibility score"
Independent measurement finds only about a third to two-fifths of cited sources stay the same between identical runs. So we run every prompt multiple times and report appearance frequency with a confidence interval. A one-off score is noise.
llms.txt does nothing, and we won't charge for it
We'll add one because it takes twenty minutes and costs you nothing. But Google has publicly said Search does not use it, and no AI platform documents consuming it. Anyone billing you for an llms.txt strategy is billing you for a text file.
About 80% of this is just SEO, done properly
Crawlability, structured data, real content, local signals, reviews. We say so out loud. The genuinely new 20% — per-agent crawler rules, rendering for engines that can't run JavaScript, multi-run measurement — is real, but it is 20%.
It won't work equally well for everyone
Peer-reviewed work (Aggarwal et al., KDD 2024) found lower-ranked sites gained most from these changes — up to 115% — while sites already ranking top gained close to nothing. If you're already dominant, we'll tell you to save your money.
Trust
We're new, so we can't show you case studies
Citemark launched in 2026. We have no client logos and no testimonials, and we are not going to invent any. Instead we've made everything about how we work checkable in advance — which is a harder standard than a screenshot of someone else's results.
Founder-led, one name on it
You deal with the person doing the work. No account manager, no handoff to a junior. Who we are.
Prices published, method published
Every price and every step is on this site before you talk to us. Copy the method and do it yourself if you'd rather.
You own everything
Pages, schema, profiles, documentation and prompt data live in your accounts, on your domain. Cancel and it all stays yours.
Our own scores, published live
We run the method on ourselves and publish the results, updated monthly. If we can't get our own site into AI answers, you should not hire us. See the raw entity data on our brand facts page.
Objections
Questions you're right to ask
Can you guarantee my business will appear in ChatGPT?
No. Nobody can, and anyone who says otherwise is either guessing or lying. AI engines choose sources at generation time using signals no agency controls. Google and Bing both tell buyers to walk away from anyone guaranteeing rankings. What we can do is remove every technical reason you are ineligible, then measure honestly.
Is AI search actually worth paying for yet?
AI referral traffic is roughly 1% of most sites' visits today, so no, not as a traffic channel. The commercial damage is on the other side. A randomised field experiment in 2026 found organic clicks fell 39.8% when an AI Overview appeared. You are losing traffic you already paid for.
How is this different from SEO?
About 80% of it is conventional SEO done properly: crawlability, structured data, real content, local signals, reviews. The other 20% is genuinely new: per-agent crawler rules, server-side rendering for engines that cannot run JavaScript, answer-shaped pages, and repeated prompt measurement across named consumer surfaces.
Why do you publish your prices?
Because the category is full of opaque retainers that start with a discovery call designed to price you rather than help you. Published prices let you decide in ninety seconds whether we are worth a conversation. It costs us some leads and saves you and us a great deal of time.
What is a realistic timeline before anything changes?
Technical eligibility fixes land within days. Entity and structured data signals typically settle over four to eight weeks. Answer coverage and third-party citations are the slow part: expect three to six months before appearance frequency moves meaningfully. Anyone promising faster is selling you a story.
I already have an SEO agency. Does this conflict?
Usually not. We work alongside them and send them the technical fix list if you prefer. Our work sits on top of good SEO rather than replacing it. If your current agency is already doing schema, rendering and review work properly, we will tell you and scope down accordingly.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Both retainers are rolling monthly and you can cancel any month with no exit fee. Everything we build — pages, schema, profiles, documentation — belongs to you and stays on your own domain and accounts. There is nothing to hold hostage if you leave.
What if my site is already fine?
Then we will tell you and you will have spent £195 to find out, or nothing at all if the free scan settles it. That happens occasionally. It is a much better outcome than a twelve-month retainer that quietly bills you for work your site did not need.
